Buenos Aires, April 14 (NA) -- Former River coach Marcelo Gallardo would have had a romance with Uruguayan model Eliana Díaz during last summer in Punta del Este, in a relationship that was kept under wraps and which would have already ended. As reported in Uruguayan media, the approach took place at the beginning of 2026, when the coach was in the neighboring country's main seaside resort carrying out the preseason with his team, a context in which he met the model. According to what the Argentine News Agency was able to find out, witnesses claimed to have seen them together at different points in Punta del Este, where they shared reserved meetings, avoiding public exposure.
